Absense

I am so sorry for the absence! I didn't even notify y'all! I'm really really really really REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY sorry, everybody! I'll make sure that nothing like that ever happens again! Does everyone accept my apology? Good. Now, the explanation: So, Dad all of a sudden out of nowhere randomly asks the family and I if we would like to take a trip out of state with him. He made it sound so glorious and kind of like a vacation, so, of course, everyone instantly agreed. We all got packed and hopped into the van the next day. During the ride, he explains to us what's actually happening. Let me tell y'all, nobody was happy about this next part. It turns out that Dad's boss had to move out of state for a while for some sort of conference, and he chose my dad and a few other employees to come with him. Dad wanted to bring us along. We stayed at Holiday Inn. No computers. And the place where Daddy was working had no computers that were on limits to Fred (little bro), Mommie, and I --- strictly employees only. Torture, pure torture. I did get some excellent plotting done though, so everyone ought to be happy about that. I know Vivvie and I are.

Sorry it has taken so long to post. I will give an update sometime soon but right now my internet is broken. Shoot. I am at the library now. But we are getting it fixed sometime soon.

Hello All. Just a quick update.

'Tis nearly midnight on Friday, March 28, 2008, and thought you readers may want an update that isn't insanely detailed.

I'm so busy I can barely find time to work on the book, but isn't that what weekends are for? I will try to get a bit of the world map done in the morning, but in order for it to be on-scale, I will have to do quite a few revisions of it with MUCH planning.

And, just so you do not get confused, when I (Vivian) am posting, Greyeye, my writing angel, will be posted at the top. When Nat posts, there will be a different picture.

I also added another page to the website, explaining how the book came to be, so make sure you give that a look. :)

Good Morning

Good morning. This is Natalie (aka - Nat). I have some free time on my hands, so I decided just to post something real quick. Just a brief of the last few, days - Vivvy and I developed a pretty decent plot line and created names for the Regions. Well, actually Vivian came up with the names due to my lack of ability to think of good names on the spot, so I made some details and elaborated on Aerik (ay-rick, like Eric but with a different spelling and instead of air as the first syllable, it's ay as in hay). I decided that he was to be an elf/nymph, so that's great that we now know his race. I don't know how much I am allowed to tell about him, so I'll just leave it at that for now. I will post later, I promise, but at this moment there are things beckoning to be taken care of, so I think I will scurry on down to tend to them before their weak callings become furious howlings in my ear. All right then. I love you all.

Greetings again to all of you readers. This is Vivian once more.

I thought you might want to know what is going on with the book. Nat and I were doing some serious plotting the other day over the website and phone. We got the basic plotline completely edited so now we are working on the detailed plotline and the characters.

In my plotbook I have written the names of all the Regions, listed all the terrain, and listed the creatures involved [meaning ones encountered on the journey and in the Realm]. I plan to make a rough map soon.

Speaking of drawing, I've done a couple of rough sketches of one of the main characters, Solace Elynn [So-less Ee-linn]. I would draw the others [Davinniel deCyrus, Strinus, and Aerik], but I can't draw guys worth a flip. I'll have to find a model or get Natalie to draw them.

Remind me to scan those pictures...
